So I’ve been talking a bit about fear lately and how we need to get rid of the fear of failure and the fear of life, as I often call it.
When I read The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho (which I recommend reading!), I came across this (among many others) beautiful and thought-provoking quote:
“People need not fear the unknown if they are capable of achieving what they need and want.”
How great is that? He’s telling us that as long as we believe that we can get what we’re asking for, we don’t need to fear life.
There are a lot of things out there that are a bit frightening – in one way or another – but if you focus on your wishes and your goals, nothing that comes in your way should be feared, because it is meant to come your way.
You’ll still have your share of tests in life, and you’ll still go through tough moments and trials. But don’t fear these. They are, in a way, beautiful in themselves. They are what we learn from to make our lives better and better.
Life is a journey with ups and downs. But keep walking, fearlessly, and you’ll get to exactly where you’re meant to go.
